About the Foundation

Our goal with “A DOLLAR AND A DREAM” is to create a charitable art auction in the NFT space. Through the digital expression of real narratives, we will work to bring kids in need one step closer to the lives they’ve always dreamed about. A project with such an emphasis on personal connection with the art and story is the first of its kind. We believe that the youth are our biggest and best dreamers and to support them is to support the future.

Our Goals

  • Provide Publicity To Elementary Schools in Lower East Side

  • Partner With Educational Alliance

Both with heavy volunteering experience, Deacon and Oscar share a passion and drive to help the youth when it comes to fairness in education. There is a dark shadow casted over inner-city public elementary schools that they want to remove. Using their social media platforms and creative sides, Deacon and Oscar aim to shed light on this cyclical issue of poor education and low rates of youth attending college.

Because of his relationship to P.S 142, Oscar has become closely acquainted with the Educational Alliance and their non-for-profit work. With a large infrastructure and personal care for each school, the Educational Alliance has become an ideal partner in modernizing fundrasing and adding a creative side to it.

  • Directly Donate Funds

Today, charities and foundations tend to lead their funds through a maze of people and businesses. Our goal is to eliminate the big business in the world of charity. Thus, we aim to give 100% of the profits to the "Dreamer".

The Vision

  1. There are countless kids in New York City public schools school who have stories to tell

  2. Visit Elementary schools to talk directly with students

  3. Ask each student what their biggest dream is

  4. Create a digital art depiction of the kids dream with influence from our fictional artistic visions

  5. Write the description of the art as their story and background

  6. Collect profits and give 100% back to the student

"Our founders are Deacon Phillippe and Oscar Cellura. We are artists and creative visionaries that attend NYU at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. Between the two of us, we seek to understand the unfair economic cycle of the lower class in New York city. Each day we see the struggles and misrepresentation in kids of all ages in the NYC. With hundreds of hours of volunteer work with the youth, we have the drive and passion to build a better environment and fairness in elementary education. Since we have been writing, acting, producing music, and performing for more than 10 years each, there is a thirst for bringing art of the future into the charity world."
